New Vocational Training Scholarships Announced01.07.2016
Fundación Repsol, in collaboration with Repsol and Petronor’s industrial facilities, is once again offering scholarships for Vocational Training students. This programme aims to promote and facilitate vocational training as an educational option, improving young people’s employability.
A total of 100 scholarships will be awarded, 25 of which are allocated to intermediate vocational training and 75 to advanced vocational training. Each scholarship is worth €800. These scholarships are aimed at students studying vocational training courses at educational centres in different areas.
For the first time, interested students can apply online by visiting the website: becasfp.fundacionrepsol.com. The period for submitting applications runs from 1st July to 30th September 2016.
In addition, the number of professional fields has been increased this year. Students who are studying intermediate and advanced vocational courses in the following fields may apply: electricity/electronics, mechanical manufacturing, facilities and maintenance, construction and civil works, energy and water, chemistry, information technology and communications, administration and management, commerce and marketing, health, and safety and environment.
Furthermore, in line with the commitment of Fundación Repsol, Repsol, and Petronor to integrate people with disabilities into society and the workplace, 5% of the scholarships are reserved for students with a recognised disability of 33% or more.
