Morning, afternoon, and evening

Activities for school children will be held in the morning from Monday to Friday:

Scientific workshops:

  • "Oil Explorers" gives pupils in the third year of primary school the opportunity to discover where oil comes from and learn about its natural state in a fun way.
  • Through "The Great Energy Mix Challenge", fourth-year primary pupils learn what energy is and how different energy sources are managed in a sustainable way.
  • "Transporting CO2" teaches children in their fifth year of primary education how different means of transportation are powered.
  • With "The Circular Economy Puzzle", sixth-year primary school children learn what this economy is and how we can contribute to it with everyday objects.
  • On Thursday and Friday, secondary pupils will have the chance to complete "The Energy Route" and find out about different sources of energy in a surprising way.
  • The "Big-Time Science" show, where the audience can learn in a novel way with XXL experiments.
  • The physicist and comedian Dani Jiménez will take participants on an entertaining journey to see the past, present, and future of energy with his show "Misión Cosmos. Viaje por la historia de la energía" (Mission Cosmos. A voyage to discover the history of energy).
  • "Repsol and Energy" exhibition.

University students and the general public will also be able to enjoy activities in the afternoon and evening:

  • A special pass for Dani Jiménez's show "Misión Cosmos. Viaje por la historia de la energía" (Mission Cosmos. A voyage to discover the history of energy).
  • "Repsol and Energy" exhibition.
  • Energy models workshop an activity organised by the UPCT (Technical University of Cartagena)
  • "Bloopbuster, spot the mistakes", an UPCT activity that invites participants to discover scientific blunders in famous films.

University students will be able to have a go at "The Great Energy Mix Challenge" and compete to find out which team manages energy in the most sustainable way.
