For the fifth consecutive year, the orchestra conductor and ambassador of Ayuda en Acción, Pablo Heras-Casado, places himself at the head of the Madrid Symphony Orchestra to conduct the Chords for Charity concert.
On this occasion, he'll conduct the Overture-Fantasy Romeo and Juliet and the 5th Symphony in E minor by Tchaikovsky. The event will take place on Tuesday 28th May at 8 p.m. in the Royal Theatre of Madrid. The concert will count with the participation of a choir launched by Ayuda en Acción and made up by girls and boys from the Ramiro Soláns and Joaquín Costa de Zaragoza schools. The repertoire will commence with two coral versions of The March and The Russian Dance from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker.
The collection is destined entirely to the programme for social development Aquí también by Ayuda en Acción that aims to improve the living conditions of children, adolescents, and families that are at risk of social exclusion in Spain.
