For the third year in a row, the Auditorium of the Technical University of Cartagena (UPCT) hosted the Campus Company Chair event, during which Fundación Repsol presented the Fundación Repsol Chair award to one of the students.

This event aims to reflect on the innovative potential generated by the university-company relationship. This year the event focussed on the latest developments in the construction and infrastructure sectors.

Researchers, professionals, and managers of some of the companies working in these fields analysed the implications of developments in areas such as 3D printing, virtual reality, the internet of things, and artificial intelligence.

Other prizes were also awarded during this event for the best degree and master's final projects. In the case of the Fundación Repsol Chair, the award went to the student Luigi Trezza for his project Energy Analysis of a geodesic and self-sufficient home in Jumilla.

This award, which includes a diploma and a monetary prize, is just one of the actions carried out within the framework of this Chair, which began in 2015 with the goal of promoting educational programmes and lines of research that have a positive impact on society.
