Engineering Campus in Cartagena06.05.2015
Fundación Repsol is again supporting the Engineering Campus, held from 6 to 8 May in Cartagena. During these days, the Mobile Classroom will be open to the public, opposite the Regional Assembly on Paseo Alfonso XIII, Cartagena.
This Fundación Repsol initiative is intended to educate society about the importance of energy and its responsible use, as well as encouraging an interest in science among young people.
The visit is especially designed for school groups, with specialist educators who explain the activities and answer participants’ queries. But the classroom is also open to all those who want to increase their knowledge on the subject of energy.
Since it began in 2013, more than 85,000 people in 150 different locations have taken part in the various activities provided by the Mobile Classroom. It is continuing its tour in 2015. To see all the venues, please consult the schedule.
Also during the Engineering Campus, people can find out more about the Fundación Repsol Chair at the Technical University of Cartagena (UPCT), part of the Network of Technology Company Chairs. The stand offers information on the main areas being tackled at present.
The Engineering Campus is an activity to publicise, communicate and promote scientific and technological knowledge, in which the central role is played by the students of the centres.
