Having a sense of solidarity means having More than Words

Fundación Repsol launches a new edition of this programme in which employees, shareholders, and distributors present their social outreach projects. The general public will be able to vote on three projects to receive financial support.
More than Words 2018

For yet another year, Fundación Repsol is calling on employees, shareholders, and distributors to submit their social outreach projects to the More than Words programme. The chosen winners will receive €10 000 each in financial support.

More than Words supports projects that improve the quality of life of vulnerable groups, encourage social integration, and meet the critical needs of specific groups.

Projects can be presented on the More than Words website, where contestants can also read the terms and conditions and fill out the entry form. Shareholders have until 27th June to submit their entries, whilst employees and distributors will have until 20th September.

This year, just like the last, the general public will be able to vote by going to the Solidary tab on the programme website. They can vote for three Fundación Repsol-supported projects to receive €10 000, which will be divided among the winners depending on the vote results. The social projects presented this year are:

  • Ópera y+ (Opera and More), which takes the opera to the nephrology, children's, and neonatal wards at Hospital de Cruces in Baracaldo, where music plays a therapeutic role.
  • Aquí también (Here as Well) aims to meet the needs of children at risk of social marginalisation at schools in La Coruña and Puertollano.
  • The organ transplant and donation programme in Trinidad and Tobago, which trains administrative and health care personnel with the goal of helping improve the system and procedure for transplants in the country.

In More than Words 2017, Fundación Repsol presented €10 000 in financial support to the 31 social projects selected from the over 200 submitted by employees, shareholders, and distributors.
