Photography exhibition - Possibilities, time, images12.12.2016
As part of Fundación Repsol and Plena Inclusión Madrid's project More culture, More inclusion, this exhibition showcases artistic works produced in a photo creation and communication workshop for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The Contar con Imágenes (Tell a Story with Pictures) workshop has been held once a week for six months and in it the participants created materials with which to make their own albums. Among the aims of this activity are to using photography as a tool for creation, expression and communication, promoting communication through images, and developing the creative abilities of the participants. It also seeks to construct a personal artistic project, give visibility to the participants and their stories, and expand their personal resources as well as their ability to communicate and express themselves.
This inclusive culture exhibition is called Possibilities. Time. Images. These Biographical Journeys through Art will be open to the public until December 21st in the exhibition hall of Función Lenguaje, Calle Doctor Fourquet 18, Madrid. It can be visited from Monday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5:30 to 9 p.m.
