Take part in one of our volunteering activities in May06.05.2019
Help out as a volunteer in one of the activities that will take place in Madrid in May and help build a better world. You can dedicate your time and efforts to the projects that you like most. Fundación Reposl offers a wide range of activities, such as serving breakfast to homeless people, enjoying a morning planting trees with your family, or helping prepare meals for poverty-stricken people.
In addition, the return of spring also means new adapted cycling events, where you can enjoy the good weather while exercising in the outdoors alongside people with disabilities. In this activity on Saturday mornings, Repsol volunteers help and support users during a pleasant ride around the Juan Carlos I park in Madrid.

This month Fundación Repsol is taking part in the 9th International Corporate Volunteering Week (Give & Gain), which takes place from 7th to 14th May. This is a leading corporate volunteering initiative worldwide, and is lead by Forética in Spain. Give & Gain aims to encourage employees to volunteer as a key tool for generating a positive impact on the community.
Fundación Repsol has organised activities on 10th and 11th May as part of this week. Charity Breakfasts in the church of San Antón (Madrid), a cultural visit to MUNCYT led by senior cultural volunteers (A Coruña), the Family Environmental Day (Madrid), and Adapted Cycling (Madrid).
The Repsol Volunteers that participated in Energy with Consciousness will soon find out which of the 21 schools involved have made it to the final of the Energy with Consciousness Championship. The evaluation Committee is looking over all the documentation, and the finalists will be announced on 23rd May. These teams will show their creativity, presenting their report and improvement proposals in an event that will take place at Repsol's headquarters in Madrid on 27th June 2019.
Likewise, over the course of this month senior cultural volunteers will continue their training thanks to Senior Energy. The role of women in science, the challenges of smart cities, or state-of-the-art information technology are just some of the topics they will learn about in May. This programme helps participants, who are all aged 55 and over, to stay up-to-date on the latest trends in science and technology. These training sessions will help participants to later collaborate as cultural volunteers in different museums.
