Fundación Repsol renueva su compromiso con la educación y las mujeres STEM

The Repsol Foundation and Fundación Carolina have been developing an institutional scholarship program, aimed exclusively at the postgraduate training of female graduates in STEM areas (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), with special emphasis on energy transition and digital transformation.

This program aims to promote and guarantee access and equal opportunities for women in scientific and technological careers, as well as contribute to reducing the gap between men and women in terms of training and professional development in these areas of knowledge at leading universities.

In this 2023-2024 edition, the Repsol Foundation awarded scholarships to women who are studying in the following programs:

  • Master's Degree in Renewable Energy and Energy Sustainability (Universidad de Barcelona)
  • Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence, Pattern Recognition, and Digital Imaging (Universidad Politécnica de Valencia)
  • Master's Degree in Energy and Fuels for the Future (Universidad Autónoma de Madrid)
  • Master's Degree in Data Science (Universidad Politécnica de Madrid)
  • Master's Degree in Solar Energy (Universidad de Almería)

The Repsol Foundation reaffirms its commitment to gender equality in STEM fields by continuing its scholarship program for women. In the 2023-2024 edition, they supported postgraduate programs at leading universities, promoting more prominent female representation in crucial fields.

These scholarships also seek to help participants grow professionally and inspire other women to pursue scientific and technological careers. A specific initiative to build a more diverse and inclusive future in the STEM fields.
