3RD WORLD EDUCATION CONGRESS: EDUCA 2020

On February 27, 28, and 29, the 3rd World Education Congress Educa 2020 will be held in Santiago de Compostela. This event is a platform for the exchange of knowledge and teaching experiences between teachers and students of all educational levels and subjects.

Among the participants are Francesco Tonucci, an Educational Psychologist who has written numerous publications on the role of children in the organization of cities; Coral Elizondo, lecturer at the Faculty of Education at the University of Zaragoza and expert in educational inclusion; and Juan Núñez, founder of EIM-OTB — a consultancy specializing in educational innovation — and pedagogical advisor of the Repsol Foundation Education area.

During the event, Juan Núñez will address the role of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as a challenge and opportunity to be innovated in the classroom and will discuss his experience as a Repsol Foundation collaborator.

The Repsol Foundation is committed to supporting education as a key tool for facing future challenges. Therefore, we are developing educational projects in which we raise awareness among children and young people about the importance of energy efficiency, and how to reflect on and analyse it critically. And we encourage them to participate in the social challenges described in the United Nations' SDGs.
