Repsol - UB Energy Transition Chair Event

The Repsol Foundation and the University of Barcelona have organized the event Energy Transition: from science to land at the Catalonian College of Civil Engineering on 20 February.

The use and storage of CO₂ as a method for implementing natural climate solutions will be a topic of discussion. The different challenges for implementing these measures will be addressed, both from a scientific, technical, economic, and legislative points of view and from that of the public administration.

This event is part of the UB – Repsol Foundation Energy Transition Chair introduced last September and led by Mariano Marzo, chair professor of Stratigraphy and professor of Energy Resources and Petroleum Geology. Its purpose is to drive knowledge, rigorous and scientific debate, research, and the dissemination of information on the energy transition and climate change.
