7th Family and Disability Conference: Intellectual disability, resilience, and sustainable development
17 March, 2021, the Family and Disability Chair: Fundación Repsol-Down Madrid is celebrating the 7th Family and Disability Conference: Intellectual disability, resilience, and sustainable development.
The conference will reflect, from an ecological perspective, on how the improvement of the relationship between people and the different social and natural contexts in which they live can be a source of resilience and inclusion for people with disabilities and how people with disabilities can also be drivers of sustainable development in our societies.
The Family and Disability Award will be given out in the afternoon: Fundación Repsol-Down Madrid to Froma Walsh, PhD, Co-Director and Co-Founder of the Chicago Center for Family Health, University of Chicago professor, and “mother” of the concept of family resilience.
The Conference will take place in person (reduced attendance and with social distancing) and via streaming.
