Repsol Foundation launches Zinkers Easy Reading: education in ecological transition for all

The Repsol Foundation takes another step forward in its commitment to educational inclusion with the launch of Zinkers Easy Reading, a new version of its educational program in ecological transition, specially adapted for students with cognitive disabilities and learning difficulties.

Zinkers Easy Reading was born with a clear objective, which is to guarantee access to quality content on sustainability and the environment for all students, regardless of their abilities. That’s why the Repsol Foundation has adapted its digital resources to the easy reading methodology, which facilitates reading comprehension for people with difficulties.

The initiative is part of the Repsol Foundation’s Zinkers educational program, which has already reached 6,000 primary and secondary schools throughout Spain and 1,200 schools in Portugal. With this new line, the scope is extended to special education centers, mainstream schools with students with specific educational support needs, and social organizations, offering digital resources, teaching guides, and accessible content validated by educational inclusion experts.

With Zinkers Easy Reading, an unmet need is covered: that students with cognitive disabilities can also learn about ecological transition content and feel part of the change. With Zinkers Easy Reading, that inclusion is a reality.

This initiative reinforces the Repsol Foundation’s commitment to inclusive education, social innovation, and the development of key skills for the future.
